Being a new mom or REALLY new mom comes with many perks.  Sure, people are excited around you and allow you the “your pregnant” excuse when you forget something.  But the best of all the perks would be the amazing freebies.  When I first found out I was prego and went in for my first doctor appointment I walked out with a big swag bag full of freebies and goodies.  There was a $25 Shutterfly gift card, diaper, coupons and prenatal pills.  Pretty good for only being prego for 6 weeks.  Online it gets even better, there are offers left and right being displayed on various mom blogs or other website for a free this or that.  On Saturday I received a few of these free packages that I signed up for a few weeks back.

Freebie #1 – Graco sent me Lite up baby nail clippers.  I thought this was a great free item especially since I finally figured out what the light was for!  I was thinking it was so you could really see what you were doing because they are so tiny but my cousin, Kat, filled me in on the secret of clipping the nails while they are sleeping.  GENIUS!

I was actually supposed to get some “I’m prego” t-shirt (Aunt Karen sent the link) but I guess they ran out and I’m pretty happy with the nail clippers instead.

Freebie #2 – a parenting website that I’m a member of (there are only 1,000 of them out there) sent me a code for a free “Udder-Cover” which covers you up while breastfeeding.  These bad-boys are retailed at $32.00 a piece and I got mine for free!  It is a great pattern (the picture shows the pattern I chose) and you can’t beat free.
